Network install non-admin share - User was NOT added to the database
Affects Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server.

Problem
After configuring the shared data folder, you are unable to add users through the program. You are presented with the error User "..." was NOT added to the database.

Cause
This error appears to be a permissions issue.

Solution
Create a sub-directory within the shared folder. Open the Digitext title and click Set-up. Enter the administrative name and password (found in your documentation), and click on 'Global Settings'. Click on the shared path text, and add the new folder name to the end of the path.

Alternatively, map the drive, or make the share administrative - e.g. \\server\share$
