Problem:
After inserting the CD and clicking 'Install' an error message appears stating that 'The Parameter is incorrect'.

Cause:
This is a known issue with the .NET framework files for Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 (the suite used to develop the software). Please see the article on the Microsoft website:

Solution:
The easiest solution is to manually run the setup files from the CD-ROM:

1. Open My Computer.
2. Right-click on the CD-ROM drive icon.
3. Click 'Explore'
4. Double-click on the file named Setup.exe (or Setup.msi)

Note that if you follow the guidance on the Microsoft website and decide to download the hotfix, you should only apply it to affected systems.
