Error message 'Cannot find file://'

Problem:

After installing the product to a networked location, the application appears to launch correctly, but when attempting to open one of the papers, an error similar to the message below occurs. The path appears to be correct, and the file is properly named:

Cause:

Internet Explorer is unable to execute the file across a UNC share. When you examine the application shortcut properties, it would appear similar to:

Solution:

Ensure that the installed location is on a mapped drive (this application does not require a dedicated share, but can operate from a subordinate directory).

Modify the Application shortcut properties to change the path to that of the mapped drive e.g:
