Integris is a school information management system used to store information about pupils and teachers. In order for KnowledgeBox engineers to efficiently create teacher and pupil logins on the KnowledgeBox server, an electronic list of names is required on the day of installation. Such a list can easily be exported from the Integris system.
N.B. Any pupil and teacher information used by engineers will be treated in complete confidence and will not be used for any purpose other than to create the login accounts.
To export a list of Pupils from Integris:
- Log into Integris.
- Click on the Student Search button in the upper left corner. This will open the Student Search window.
- Ensure that in the Global Name Search section, “All Names” is selected and then click “Find”. This will display a complete list of Pupils.
- Click on the “Printer” button in the upper left corner. This will bring up the Report Destination window.
- Click on RTF, and then click OK. You will then be asked to select a file destination.
- Insert a floppy disk, navigate to the A: Drive (3˝ Floppy Drive), and save the file with a relevant name (e.g. Pupils).
To export a list of Teachers from Integris:
- Log into Integris
- Click on the Staff Search button in the upper left corner. This will open the Staff Search window.
- Repeat steps 3 to 6 as for pupils, but this time saving the file with the name “Teachers”.
Note for KnowledgeBox Engineers
The list exported from Integris is a comprehensive one. However, the names section can easily be pasted into Microsoft Excel and the surplus information removed during CSV file configuration.
