RM community connect networks require that any software needs to be installed via an MSI package. Please refer to this article for an explanation of RM installation procedures on a CC3 network. How can I deploy applications using RM CC3
On a normal network without any software deployment software, java will need to be installed on each seperate computer. It is best to log onto the computer as administrator or as a user with administrator rights. The file needed to install java can be obtained from your KnowledgeBox itself. In the address bar of your internet browser, type in the following: http://<knowledgeboxipaddress>:9000/j2re-1_4_1-windows-i586-i.exe
Substitute <knowledgeboxipaddress> for the ip address of your knowledgebox. See How_can_I_find_out_my_knowledgebox_address
Press Enter and a box will appears asking you to open or save the file. Press open and the file will be downloaded and the java installation will start automatically. There are no settings that need to be changed, just press Next at each prompt until it finishes installing.
Reboot the computer after this is done.
