Installer hangs when rolling out in ActiveDirectory

Problem:
When using the supplied MSI files to roll out ActiveBook or ActiveTeach from the CD-ROM, the stations receiving the package fail to complete the installation.

Affects:
Systems running with an authenticating proxy server.

Cause:
The updater attempts to run after the installation process and is prevented from doing so without authentication.

Solution:
Download and use MSI files which DO NOT run the updater inline with the installation process. The files can be downloaded > here < (~156KB)

Note. If you wish to distribute shortcut(s) to the updater applications, you must execute the shortcut with /checknow as an argument.

Any updates released for DiDA Using ICT ActiveTeach will also be placed on this site as downloadable .msp patches for ActiveDirectory distribution.
