allThis problem does occur fairly often and it is most commonly as a result of no classes no being assigned to particular teachers.
Below is an image of what the assign lessons dialog box looks like when there is no class linked to a teacher. All that is displayed in the drop down box is “Class list”.

In order to have classes appear in this drop down, you would need to log on to the KnowledgeBox either as administrator or as someone who has administrator rights on the box. Click on the “Link teachers” button as shown below.
This will bring up the “Link teachers” dialog box.

The current classes are shown on the left, and the names of the teachers are shown on the right.
Click on the class you would like to assign to a teacher. It will become highlighted.
Then click on teacher to whom you would like to assign the class. The teacher’s name will become highlighted as well.
Then click on the green arrow pointing right. This will create the link between the that teacher and the class.
When you click on the little black arrow next to the teacher name, you can see which classes are currently linked to a particular teacher. These are the classes you will be able to see the “assign lessons” dialog when logged on as that teacher.
The image shown below shows the "Assign lessons" box with a teacher logged that has had a class linked to him/her.

The drop down box now has options to choose from.
