If you are a KnowledgeBox Engineer:
You will need a monitor and keyboard attached or a remote telnet connection using the telnet command or tools such as Putty. Make sure no person is trying to connect to KnowledgeBox before you begin.
1. Login to the KnowledgeBox console as "root"
2. Change directory to /home/knowledgebox/init.d
3. From the /home/knowledgebox/init.d# prompt run ./rc.knowledgebox stop once this command is complete you will be returned to the /home/knowledgebox/init.d# prompt.
4. From the # prompt enter the command init 0, this should power off the KnowledgeBox within 60 seconds. If the machine hasn't powered off it will have hung most likely, in which case you will have to press and hold the power button for more than 7 seconds for the unit to power off. Release the power button only once powered off.
5. After waiting for 20 seconds or so, power the KnowledgeBox back on - It should work as normal once it has completed the start-up process.
