I use a website that uses microsoft java VM, but the SUN java that the KnowledgeBox uses interferes with it, what can I do?

This article applies to:

KnowledgeBox version: all
Workstation OS: Microsoft Windows (98 or higher)
Browser versions: all

Certain websites use microsoft java vm to run. If these websites do not work after the installation of Sun java, please try the following settings in the options of Internet explorer to see if this resolves the problem. By default "Use Java 2 v1.4.x for <applet>" is enabled. Just uncheck this box as shown below.

Remember to close internet explorer and open it again for the change in settings to take affect.
