If the network and internet are fine, there are two probable causes for this problem. One being the update timings may be set to Minimum in which case Content will not be updated automatically (please refer to the article How_do_I_change_the_Backup_and_Content_updating_timings_on_my_KnowledgeBox) The second cause may be a ‘stale’ lock file which blocks requests for updates.
