How do I change the proxy server and port number that my KnowledgeBox accesses?
This article applies to:

KnowledgeBox version: 1.5
Browser versions: all

You will first need to log in to the KnowledgeBox Administration page. Please refer to this article How_do_I_log_in_to_the_administration_pages_of_my_KnowledgeBox

Once logged you will get the following page. Click on System engineer setup options.

You will be prompted to enter a login name and password as follows. Please contact the Helpdesk for these details.

After a succesful log on the following screen will appear.

Click on Modify Proxy settings. You will then be prompted for a proxy host, port and username and password. The Username and password are only used where the proxy being used requires a username password to allow access to the internet.

Click on the "Modify Proxy Settings" button. That is all that is required. If you wish to make sure that there is communication between the KnowledgeBox and the backend, refer to How_can_I_check_that_my_KnowledgeBox_is_backing_up_and_getting_latest_content_and_updates.html
