Problem:
When inserting a BBC DVD Video title, an application titled 'InterActual' attempts to launch and install. On Windows Vista, this may cause an error message due to compatibility issues.
Cause:
There are some embedded Web links within some of the menus, which are enabled by InterActual, allowing the user to click on the links within the DVD, to open an Internet browser.
Solution:
When the Interactual installer opens, click the 'Cancel Installation' button - the software is not required for DVD playback.

To play the disc, launch your media player software - e.g. PowerDVD, Windows Media Player etc. and select the DVD from the media list:

Play the disc, by double-clicking the media in the list, or selecting the DVD, and clicking the 'Play' button.

To access the embedded Internet links, you will need to open your Web browser, and manually enter the text as it appears on the screen - in the same manner as when playing the DVD on your normal DVD player equipment.
Note, that if you receive an alert that you require new CODECs to view the DVD, this indicates that your computer does not yet support DVD Video playback - this would likely to be the case if you were to attempt to play any DVD Video movie - e.g. Disney movies.
