How can I find out my knowledgebox address?

This article applies to:

KnowledgeBox version: all
Workstation OS: Microsoft Windows (98 or higher)
Browser versions: all

There are a few ways to find out your KnowledgeBox IP address.

The easiest being to look at the installation sheets that the KnowledgeBox engineer left behind after the installation of the KnowledgeBox.

If the sheets are not at hand, another easy way to find teh IP address is to jump on a computer that already has access to the KnowledgeBox. Right click on the KnowledgeBox shortcut which is normally on the desktop. A menu will appear as shown below, click on the properties button.

The properties window for the KnowledgeBox shortcut should now appear.

If the "Web document" tab is not already selected, click on it. Then look at the URL box. In there you will see http://<your IP address>:9000/. So for example in the URL above http://10.150.127.105:9000/, the IP address will be 10.150.127.105
